I Envisage a Literate Constituency with Reduced Unemployment - Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu

The Member of Parliament for Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese Constituency in the Central Region, Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has shared his vision to build a more literate constituency while taking practical steps to reduce unemployment, particularly among the youth.

He said this after distributing over two hundred essential items to students due for second-cycle institutions in the constituency.

The items, which included trunks, chop boxes, students' mattresses and other essential materials required by freshers, were presented to support parents and students as they begin their secondary school education.

Hon. Kwakye Ofosu said education remains a critical component of his development agenda, stressing that supporting students is an investment in the future of the constituency.

He further disclosed plans to project and expand the Work-and-Pay commercial electric-powered motorcycles and tricycles policy initiated for constituents.

According to him, the initiative is intended to create economic opportunities for beneficiaries while providing a means of livelihood for young people and others seeking employment.

He said the initiative, alongside investments in education and skills development, forms part of broader efforts to create sustainable opportunities and reduce unemployment in the constituency.

The MP reaffirmed his commitment to supporting young people through educational interventions and initiatives aimed at improving their economic prospects and making them productive members of society.
