12The Management of the Sunyani-based Sompa FM has presented GH¢4,000 to aid the medical expenses of a road crash survivor.
The survivor, a woman, sustained severe injuries in a tragic crash on the Sunyani- Nsoatre highway which happened about two weeks ago.
She lost her seven-month-old baby, and she presently on admission, recuperating at the Sunyani Teaching Hospital.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme in giving back to society, the management of the FM station mobilized the money to settle the medical bills of the survivor.
At a short presentation in Sunyani, Nana Poku Piesie, the host of the Sompa FM's "Nsem Sisi' social programme, said the station mobilized the support through the programme.
The survivor's husband, only known as Benjamin thanked the station for the support.
