Asikuma Odoben Brakwa MP Reaffirms Commitment to Education with Support to 200 Fresh SHS Learners

The Member of Parliament for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa (AOB) District in the Central Region, Hon. Alhaji Kobina Ghansah, has offered support to 200 fresh secondary school students in the constituency with education materials like student mattresses, trunks and an amount of GH¢200 to each pupil.

Speaking to the media at the event, Hon. Alhaji Ghansah stated that as MP for the constituency, education emerges a top priority to him, as that was the set time to show his people how capable he's on delivering on students need to continue their journey to SHS.

According to him, parents most at times find it difficult to provide such items to their wards, hence the opportune time for him to reduce such burden off parents and further assured to offer more of such support in subsequent years to make it easy for students to pursue higher education within the district.

District Chief Executive for the District, Hon. Olivia Bentil also advised students to leverage the opportunity and make the MP proud for providing them such items by refraining from behaviors capable to cause destruction to their education.

Some beneficiaries students also showered their heartfelt gratitude to the MP for the great support offered them and promised to study adequately well to encourage the MP do more for their colleagues as well.
