Jinijini chief appeals to President Mahama to complete abandoned Agenda 111 Hospital project

Nana Baffour Tutu Asare II, the Chief of Jinijini in the Berekum West District of the Bono Region says the people be unhappy, if the government failed to complete the abandoned 'Agenda 111 District Hospital' project in the area.

He noted that the former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration funded those projects with taxpayers' money.

Describing those projects as a laudable health intervention initiative, Nana Asare II appealed to President Mahama to facilitate resumption of work and completion of those projects in the supreme interest of the nation.

In an interview with the media at Jinijini, he called on the government to capture those abandoned hospital projects under National Democratic Congress (NDC) 'legacy projects' execution and complete them for use.

Nana Hinneh Adawia, the Twafohene (sub-chief) of Jinijini, popularly known as 'Latest' said the hospital project was not only dear to the heart of the people, but a pressing need of the community.
