Peace Goes Beyond the Absence of War— Prof. Duncan Advocates Real Intelligence (RI) for Sustainable Global Peace
President-General of the Centre of Awareness Global Peace Mission, Prof. Samuel Ato Duncan, has called for a broader understanding of peace, arguing that genuine and sustainable peace goes beyond the mere absence of war and armed conflict.
According to Prof. Duncan, lasting global peace must be built on a deeper understanding of humanity, the transformation of human thinking and the conscious development of values that promote peaceful coexistence.
He made the call at the official unveiling of Real Intelligence (RI), which seeks to provide a framework for addressing the underlying conditions that continue to fuel conflict, division and instability across societies at the COA manufacturing factory at Wusorekrom in the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese (AAK) District in the Central Region on Tuesday.
He underscored that should mankind be able to establish the originality of peace, then the world's quest to obtain global peace and ascertain what exactly has gone wrong on earth can be actualized.
Prof. Duncan’s philosophy anchors the belief that peace should not simply be measured by whether guns are silent or conflicts have ended. Rather, societies must address the mental, psychological, social and structural conditions that create resentment, injustice, fear and violence.
He opined that his discovery of RI isn't introduced to undermine or replace Artificial Intelligence (AI), since the two goes hand-in-hand, as he stressed that AI in its operation is limited, compared to RI which AI was birth from.
The Professor of Herbal Medicine again cautioned that the world's over-dependence of AI will destroy the real purpose of existence and called on the president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, leadership across the globe and everyone to join hands with him and the Centre of Awareness Global Peace Mission to unearth the Real potential of humankind to achieve everlasting peace to the souls of men on earth and the world beyond.
Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII, Paramount Chief of Abeadze State and former National House of Chiefs Vice President at the gathering, commended Prof. Duncan for his discovery and called on all and sundry to drive support towards the discovery which he observed to help not only Ghana but the world in general.
