7The Voices of Patriotic Citizens, a group advocating a third term administration for President John Dramani Mahama has been launched in Sunyani.
According to Mr Frank Opoku Agyapong, the Convener, the group operations were devoid of partisan politics, however added that President Mahama needed another term of office to accelerated national development.
Speaking at the launch of the Voices of Patriotic Citizens in Sunyani, Mr Agyapong noted that the two terms of government as enshrined by the 1992 Constitution remained the bane of accelerated national development.
Mr Agyapong said he was a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) but had resigned, saying that he admired the leadership style of President Mahama's government.
