Commercial drivers in Sunyani unhappy about deplorable conditions of roads, rise in petrol price

Commercial drivers in the Sunyani Municipality say deplorable condition of roads and rise in petrol prices are affecting their economic activities.

In a random interview with Sompa FM in Sunyani, the drivers expressed worry that they now spend much on fuel and spare parts.

One of them only known as Acheampong who used the Sunyani- Berekum highway expressed concern that the poor condition of portion of the highway was deteriorating.

He also called on the government to improve lighting on the highway, calling on the government to also rehabilitate roads at Yawhima, Odomase, Baakoniaba and Kotokrom.
