Residents at Kyeremekrom, a farming community near Wawasua in the Sunyani Municipality have appealed for Kindergarten (KG) school in the area.
Mr Kofi Kyeremeh, an elder and spokesman, noted that the lack of a KG in the area deprived many children in accessing formal education.
In an interview with Sompa FM at Kyeremekrom, he said some of the children had to walk about 30 minutes to attend school at Wawasua every day.
Mr Kyeremeh appealed to the Sunyani Municipal Assembly and NGOs to come to their aid and to establish a KG school in the community.
