Wenchi MP presents B-STEM materials to Nchiraa Islamic Basic School

Alhaji Haruna Seidu, the Member of Parliament for Wenchi Constituency in the Bono Region has presented Basic Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (B-STEM) equipment and learning materials to the Nchiraa Islamic Basic School in the Wenchi Municipality.

They comprised quantities of exercise and text books and pens to aid effective teaching and learning of B-STEM in the school.

Speaking at a short presentation ceremony at Nchiraa, Alhaji Seidu stressed his commitment to advance the study of B-STEM in the basic schools in the municipality.

He said providing the learners with the learning materials would develop their interest and inspire them to pursue science and technology related subjects.

Mr David Baffoe, the Public Relations Officer at the Wenchi Municipal Directorate of Education commended the MP for his continued support towards the growth and development of quality education in the area.
He said the items would greatly improve B-STEM learning outcomes, and called on the authorities at the school to ensure that the learners make optimum use of the learning materials.

Mr Alhassan Munkaila, the Headteacher of the Nchiraa Islamic Basic School, also thanked the MP for the gesture and appealed for support towards the renovation of the school.
