8Reacting, some traders said they were worried that the proposed increment would affect their economic activities and thereby increase the cost of living.
They told Sompa FM in an interview that there was an increase in lorry fares prices of goods and services also jumped as well.
Others also noted that they were not surprised about the proposed increment due tr the rise in the price petroleum products justifying that commercial driver also had families to cater for.
They said lorry fares ought to be adjusted upwardly to correspond with the price fuel.
