9A Reverend Minister called for strengthened security in Senior High Schools for the safety of both teachers and students.
According to the Reverend Daniel Mensah, the leader of the Abesim- based Bethel Ambassadors Church, weakened security at some of the SHSs was responsible for the growing acts of indiscipline in those schools.
He expressed worried that student indiscipline was evidenced in recurring assaults of teachers and destruction of school properties.
Rev Mensah made the call in an interview with Sompa FM at the church premises at Abesim, near Sunyani.
Rev Mensah noted that strengthening security in SHSs remained essential in promoting discipline and tackling acts of lawlessness.
