C/R: Benyadze Chief Implores Youth To Learn Apprenticeship For Future Opportunities

The Chief of Benyadze and Nifahen of the Eguafo Traditional Council, Nana Kwamina Wie II, has called on the youth to learn apprenticeship and acquire artisanal skills to position themselves for future opportunities.

Nana Wie II made the call at the Nyeyi Festival 2026 celebration at Benyadze in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem (KEEA) Municipality of the Central Region. The festival was held under the theme“Completing the adolescent health center building establishes a premier center of medical excellence, integrating advanced technology with compassionate, patient-centered care.”

According to him, several opportunities such as gold mining and the planned construction of an electricity thermal plant are emerging within the Municipality, and he looks forward to lobbying to secure opportunities for the youth of Benyadze.

He also called on investors to consider investing in Benyadze, stressing that enough land has been released for their operations.

Nana Kwamina Wie II further indicated that proceeds from the festival will be used to complete extended projects for the CHPS Compound in the community.

Present at the festival was the Member of Parliament for KEEA, Hon. Samuel Atta Mills, who outlined planned infrastructure interventions such as the construction of road networks under the Big Push Project, as well as electricity and water extension projects to be   undertaken at Benyadze by government.

Hon. Atta Mills highlighted efforts being made by his office to ensure the operationalization of the Komenda Sugar Factory.

At the event was Bishop Frimpong Asare of the Global Fountain of Grace Ministry International who advised the youth to stay away from drug abuse and focus on their God-given talents and develop them for the betterment of their lives.
