Bono Minister singles out Sompa FM for praise

Mr Joseph Addae Akwaboa, the Bono Regional Minister has commended the management of the Sunyani-based Sompa FM for the station's enormous contributions to the holistic growth and development of the region.

He mentioned that Sompa FM annual health clinic remained unmatched, urging other sister radio stations to emulate.

Mr Akwaboa gave the commendation when he addressed beneficiaries of the fifth edition of the Sompa Health Clinic in Sunyani, describing the health outreach as a valuable contribution to healthcare delivery Region.

He noted that the media played integral role in shaping society and urged radio stations in the region to beyond politics.

Mr Akwaboa urged the media to frontline and spotlight development.

Some of the beneficiaries also spoke to Sompa FM and commended the station for the health outreach programme.
