The Jaman North District Assembly, in collaboration with the Member of Parliament for the Jaman North Constituency Mr Frederick Yaw Ahenekwaa has distributed 1,620 bags of fertilizers to farmers across the district.
The chemicals are to support agricultural production and improve the livelihoods of farmers.
Speaking at a ceremony at Sampa, Mr George Adane, the Jama North District Chief Executive explained that the distribution of the fertilizers was to lessen the financial burden of the farmers.
He added that initiative aligned with the government’s efforts to increase food productivity nationwide.
Mr Ahenekwaa, the MP noted that government remained dedicated to improving agriculture and enhancing national food security.

He urged the beneficiaries to use the chemicals for the intended purposes.
