Mr Joseph Addae Akwaboa, the Bono Regional Minister has expressed satisfaction about the level of work on the on-going construction of 33-kilomtre Wamanafo-Gambia Number Two road project in the Dormaa East District of the region, under the government’s “Big Push’ Road Infrastructure programme.
During his two-day working visit to the Dormaa Central Municipality and Dormaa East District, the regional minister also inspected the progress of work on the Dormaa East District Assembly project at Wamfie, and CHPS compound projects at Abroso and Praprababida.
Mr Akwaboa also inspected the construction of three-unit classroom block with office and stores at Nsesresu, another three-unit classroom block as well as the renovation of child weighing centre at Dormaa Dormaa Akwamu.
The Regional Minister noted that the previous administration deprived the area of development, saying the government remained committed to bring the development of the area to the next level.
Madam Rachael Owusuah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dormaa East assured the government dedication to fulfil its Election 2024 campaign promises and to create a better society for all.
She noted that the on-going construction of roads, as well as health and educational projects followed appeal made by the local communities.
