Sheep and goat sellers in Sunyani, the Bono Regional capital have expressed concern poor sales, as the Christmas festivities set-in.
Speaking in an interview with Sompa FM in Sunyani, they described sales as bad compared to the previous season.
Nonetheless, Mr Solomon Kwoyiga, a goat seller said he was still hopeful sales would pick up and attributed the poor sales partly to the high prices of the animals.
Mr Francis Nyaaba, a sheep seller, said the price of sheep and goats ranged between GHC950 on GHC1,100 depending on their sizes.
