Ghanaian boxing sensation Theophilus Nii Kpakpo Allotey, affectionately known as “Theo Lopez”, will step into the ring against Filipino veteran Jayr “The Dreamer” Raquinel on December 20, 2025, at Legon Sports Stadium for the WBO Global Super Flyweight Championship.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian, unbeaten in 12 professional fights with 10 knockouts, has been making waves since turning pro in October 2024.
Trained by Dr. Kwasi Ofori Asare at Wisdom Boxing Gym and recently sharpened at the Cayman Islands, Allotey is known for his blistering hand speed, tactical pressure, and devastating combinations, making him one of Ghana’s brightest boxing talents.

His opponent, Raquinel (18-2-1, 14 KOs), is a seasoned southpaw with a history of upsets abroad, known for his patience, counterpunching, and ability to thrive under pressure.
The clash promises a thrilling youth-versus-experience showdown, with Allotey representing Ghana’s bid to reclaim the global boxing spotlight.
