Mr Atta Akoto Senior, the Communications Officer of the Sunyani Traditional Council says the council would continue to control the activities of tricycle operators in Sunyani, the Bono regional capital.
He expressed worry that some of the riders were causing nuisance in the capital hence the need to regulate their economic activities.
Mr Akoto told Ama Konadu on the Sunyani-based Sompa FM 'Adea Akyi Abia' morning show that the council still maintained the restrictions imposed on the riders, saying they were ban from operating on the principal streets of the capital.
Mr Akoto warned that offenders would be sanctioned accordingly, as the council planned to organise training for the riders.
