Professor Emmanuel Arhin, a lecturer at the Department of Geospatial Sciences, Dormaa campus of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) say's new research findings reveal high exposure of lead and toxic substances in Dormaa Municipality.
He said that the exposure of the chemicals was basically due to environmental pollution from chemically-induced farming, and industrial activities, saying that the lead concentration in the municipality remained higher now.

He indicated that the university was presently tracing the source of the lead, saying that those who exposed themselves those chemicals like lead, arsenic and chromium could be infected with Non-Communicable Diseases.
