Fiapre District Presby women donate food items to Hanukah Children Home

The Fiapre District Women Fellowship of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has presented food and other items to the Hanukah Children's Home at Baakoniaba in the Sunyani Municipality.

‎The items comprise bags of rice, tubers of yam, plantains as well as second clothing and other consumables.

‎According to Mrs Josephine Affizie, the Fiapre District President of the Women Fellowship, the presentation was part of activities to mark their Ninth Annual District Women's fellowship conference.

‎In an interview with Sompa FM, she explained that conference held at Fiapre also organised cooking competition for the members.

‎Mrs Affizie said the donation of the food items were to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged children.

‎Madam Afia Sarpong, the Caretaker at the Hanukkah Children's Home thanked the donors for the gesture and appealed for more support towards the upkeep of the children.
