Atwima Mponua DCE Reshapes Deporable Roads At Ntobroso , Adobewura And Environs

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Mponua, Hon. Ibrahim Issahak, has taken the initiative to reshape some deplorable roads in the district, including Ntobroso, Adobewura and its environs, to bring relief to residents and commuters.

The intervention, according to residents, has come as a major relief as the roads had become virtually inaccessible, especially during the rainy season.

Residents noted that the poor state of the roads had negatively affected their daily activities, making it difficult for farmers to transport their produce to market centres and for traders and commuters to move freely.

They said the reshaping of the roads will not only enhance accessibility but also help boost security, facilitate business activities, improve the movement of goods and people, and contribute to the overall development of the communities.

According to some residents and market women, armed robbers had taken advantage of the bad nature of the roads to attack and rob them of their belongings, a situation which created fear and panic in the area.

Speaking on the development, Hon. Ibrahim Issahak disclosed that the roads are now motorable and assured residents that more developmental projects are underway to improve living conditions in the district.

He reaffirmed his commitment to prioritize road infrastructure and other social amenities to accelerate development across Atwima Mponua.

Residents have commended the DCE for the swift intervention and appealed for the roads to be tarred to ensure durability.
