Mr John Evans Kumordzi, the Akuapem North Municipal Chief Executive in the Eastern Region has condemned the clash which erupted between the Okuapeman Senior High School (SHS) and the Mount Sinai SHS in the area.
Commenting on the clash, he told Ama Konadu on the Sunyani-based Sompa FM "Adea Akye Abia" morning show that calm had however restored in the schools, located closely to each other.
He explained that clash which erupted on Wednesday September 2, 2026 was as a result of a misunderstanding between students and led to the burning of school properties.
