Madam Millicent Yeboah Amankwaah, the Member of Parliament for Sunyani West has performed ground breaking ceremony for work to begin on the construction of 24-hour market at Odomase, the Sunyani West Municipal capital
Speaking at a ceremony at Odomase, the MP explained that the project was sited at Odomase because it was a government directive to put up the 24-hour markets at the district and municipal capitals.

Mr Joseph Addae Akwaboa, the Bono Regional Minister noted that the market would spur rapid socio-economic growth and development and urged the complete and hand over the project for use on time.

Nana Yaa Adansi Puduo II, the Paramount Queenmother of Odomase also urged the contractor to speed up execution of the project.

One of the market women commended the Municipal Assembly for relocating them and to pave the way for the construction of the 24-hour market in the town
