Mr Vincent Antwi Agyei, the Sunyani East Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) has performed ground breaking ceremony for work to commence on the construction of some development projects in the municipality.
Accompanied by Mr Seid Mubarak, the MCE cut the sod for the construction of a three-unit classroom block for the Yawhmire Basic School and a two-unit Kindergarten block or the Tano Ano Basic School.
He was cut the sod for the drilling of a mechanized borehole to provide potable drinking water for the residents of Adomako.
Speaking at separate ceremonies held at the beneficiary communities, said the construction of the projects was a testament of President John Dramani Mahama’s commitment to advance the reset Ghana agenda and thereby bringing the development of the municipality to the next level.
