The Municipal Chief Executive for Jaman South, Hon. Siata Watara, has launched a community engagement initiative across the municipality.

In an interview with Sompa FM, she explained that this engagement represents a crucial interaction between the chiefs and people of the various communities within the municipality.

According to Hon. Siata Watara, the primary objective of this initiative is to create a platform where she can listen to the grievances and concerns of the communities regarding development issues in all spheres. She aims to address these concerns by sharing government programs, policies, and the assembly's plans designed to resolve their challenges.

Hon. Siata Watara emphasized that the development of Jaman South Municipality is her topmost priority, and she is urging all stakeholders, including traditional leaders, to collaborate with her to drive progress in the community.

She stressed the importance of maintaining peace in the municipality, noting that it is a prerequisite for development. She called on everyone to join forces to develop the municipality, emphasizing that collective effort is essential for achieving this goal.

She expressed her gratitude to the traditional leaders and the community for their support since her appointment as MCE, thanking them for their trust and cooperation.
