Alhaji Suala Abdalla Quandah, the Director in charge of Monitoring and Evaluation speaking on Sompa FM's 'Ghana Nkommo' socio-political show on Thursday explained that, a national dialogue that would be led by the Ministry of Education and the the Ghana Education Service would pave way for other stakeholders to share their thoughts on how to deal with indiscipline.
His comments come on the back of an attack by some three students of Swedru School of Business on a student of Obrachire SHS that has led to the remand of the two of the suspects.
A final year student of Addisadel College was also attacked during an inter-schools competition by some six students of Aggrey Memorial School.
Meanwhile, the six students have been arrested by the Police.
The former executive secretary of the National Peace Council in the Bono region indicated that, a timely intervention is better than waiting for an escalated situation that would be out of hand, adding the peace council has launched "Indiscipline and non-violence in schools" as a way of dealing with the problem.
He also called on the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) to revisit their civic education clubs in schools that helped to teach patriotism, tolerance and diversity.
