Millicent Amankwaa builds artificial pitch for Chiraa community

Miss Millicent Amankwaa Yeboah, the Sunyani West Member of Parliament has performed ground breaking ceremony for work to begin on the construction of artificial football pitch at Chiraa in the Sunyani West Municipality.

She told Sompa FM on the sidelines of a sod-cutting ceremony at Chiraa that she was funding the project that would help unearth, nurture and build of the soccer talents of the young people in the area.

Barima Mintah Afari II, the Chief of Chiraa and the Benkumhene of the Dormaa Traditional Area thanked the MP for the project, and expressed the hope that the construction work would be completed on time 
Mr Christian Coleman, the site contractor of the Wembley Sports Construction Company, executors of the project assured to finish the project within four months.
