Residents of New Dormaa in the Sunyani Municipality have called on the city authorities to facilitate the resumption of work and completion of the New Dormaa dual carriage road.
According to them road crashes were now frequent in the area because one-side of the stretch remained uncompleted and blocked for vehicle use.
During a visit, the residents told Sompa FM that they could not also cope with the dust that emanated from the uncompleted portion of the road.
They narrated a horrible crash that occurred on the stretch on Monday January 26 which involved Toyota Vitz with registration number GW 4463-23 and a motorbike.
