The Municipal Chief Executive of Jaman South, Hon. Siata Watara, has completed a community-based Health Planning and Services (CHIPS) Compound at Anumgrano to help provide quality health care to the people.
This project was initially started by the last NDC government but left untouched by the immediate past NPP administration government.
In an interview with Sompa FM, Hon. Watara stated that, her administration is committed to providing quality healthcare services to all residents of Jaman South.
She emphasized that completing this CHIPS Compound is what President Mahama has charged all MMDCEs to complete legacy projects with their common fund.
Hon. Watara said his vision for Jaman South extends beyond healthcare, adding she is determined to make Jaman South the clean municipality in Ghana.
To achieve this, her administration will observe National Sanitation every month, as initiated by the President of Ghana. This initiative w not only promote a clean environment but also fosters a sense of community responsibility among residents.
Furthermore, Hon. Watara said she is committed to improving the municipal road infrastructure, ensuring that roads are motorable and safe for commuters. By prioritizing infrastructure development, she aims to create a conducive environment for residents to thrive, facilitating economic growth and social mobility.
