The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Offinso North Caesar Ofosu Acheampong, has expressed intentions and actions to improve education in the municipality, These include renovating public schools.

He made this known when presented (1,650) mathematical sets and Pens to the final year students of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates 

The initiative was aimed at promoting effective teaching and learning to boost successful exams outcome within the municipality.

Hon. Caesar Ofosu Acheampong, used the opportunity to assure his constituents of his commitment to ensuring that education is top-notch and that the needed infrastructure will be provided to make teaching and working easy.

He therefore cautioned teachers against any involvement in examination malpractices as the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) approaches.

Hon. Caesar Ofosu  urged teachers to uphold professional standards and avoid conduct that could bring the teaching profession into disrepute.

“You must desist from any form of examination malpractices to avoid falling foul to the law and its enforcement agencies,” he warned.

H called on teachers to comport themselves so that this year’s BECE could begin and end without any reports of arrests.
