says the company is not undertaking load shedding exercise (Dumsor) as being speculated in the media.
According to Mr Eugene Odoi Addo, the Sunyani Area Manager of the NEDCO, the intermittent power outages being experiences in parts of the company's operational area was due to some technical faults.
Interacting with the media in Sunyani on Monday, Mr Addo implored the general public especially communities been affected to remain calm saying the company was tackling the problem head-on.
Mr Addo said the company was also worried about the power fluctuations and outages, saying the nation was also losing huge revenue due to the challenge.
Meanwhile, Mr Joseph Addae Akwaboa, the Bono Regional Minister has ordered the NEDCo to resolve the problem immediately.
He expressed disgust about the unannounced power outages being experienced in parts of the region, and asked the company to be proactive in tackling its challenges and also tried to improve their communication with the general public.
