A senior Russian general has been killed in a car bomb attack in Moscow, Russian authorities confirm.

General Yaroslav Moskalik is the latest Russian military commander or pro-Kremlin figure believed to have been targeted by Ukrainians inside Russia.

This comes as Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff is reportedly in Moscow ahead of expected talks with President Putin.
