The Management and the Board of Directors of Atwima Mponua Rural Bank PLC have presented farming inputs to six beneficiary Municipal and District Assemblies ahead of the 2025 National Farmers Day celebration slated for Friday December 5.
Speaking during the presentation, Mr Edward Kwarteng, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Atwima Mponua Rural Bank PLC at Toase in the Ashanti region said Farmers in Ghana have contributed immensely for nation development and deserve support in their quest to improve food security of the country.

According to Mr Kwarteng, the contribution of the Ghanaian farmers was a major cause to the national growth and could never be downplayed, adding that the presentation of the farm inputs forms part of the Bank's contribution to their efforts in nation building.
He made this worthy presentation on behalf of the Board of Directors where Wheelbarrows, fridge, Wallington boots, cutlasses and others items were donated to six Municipal and District Assemblies in the Ashanti region.
The beneficiary Assemblies included Atwima Nwabiagya Municipal Assembly, Ahafo Ano South West District, Suame Municipal, Kwadaso Municipal, Bibiani Anwiaso Bekwai Municipal and Atwima Nwabiagya North District.

SOMPA NEWS later spoke to some of the beneficiary District and Municipal Chief Executives who heaped praises on the bank for the items presented and how it would go a long way to support the 41st Farmers Day celebration in their respective districts.
