The Mayor of Accra, Hon. Michael Kpakpo Allotey, hosted members of the Ghana National Armwrestling Team at his residence in a show of support for the sport and its athletes.

Speaking during the engagement, the Mayor reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving the welfare of sportsmen and women by creating employment opportunities.

He announced plans to facilitate jobs for about 30 members of the national armwrestling team, aimed at helping them earn a stable income and ease financial pressures.
