NDC vets aspirants in Sunyani West

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Sunyani West Constituency has vetted aspirants contesting various positions in the party.The vetting exercise was held at Odumase.

After the process, some aspirants spoke to Sompa FM about their ambitions.
Mr. Maxwell Ameyaw, who is contesting for the Chairmanship position, said he has contributed significantly to the party, including donating T-shirts and cash during the 2024 general elections in Sunyani West.

He said his main aim is to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and help the NDC win the Sunyani West parliamentary seat. Mr. Ameyaw picked number 6 on the ballot paper after vetting.

Meanwhile, the Municipal Chief Executive for Sunyani West, Hon. Asante Boateng, has called for unity and peace before, during and after the internal elections.
