MCE breaks grounds for rehabilitation of Sunyani main lorry station

Mr Vincent Antwi Agyei, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) has performed ground breaking ceremony for construction work to begin on the rehabilitation of the Sunyani main lorry station project

He explained that the project aligned with government's 'Reset Ghana' agenda and to improve the deplorable condition of the station.

In an interview with the media on the sidelines of a ceremony in Sunyani, Mr Agyei said the project comprised pavement of the 3,600 meter-square station and construction of standard washrooms.

He said temporarily, the assembly had relocated the station to the Sunyani Municipal Hospital enclave, just around the municipal police station.

Mr James Kenneth Kofi, the Project and Safety Manager of Jago Apex Company Limited, the contractors executing the project assured that the project would be completed within the 60 days stipulated period.
