Mr Andrews Bediako, the former Jaman South Municipal Chief Executive in the Bono Region has urged the government has lauded the government for the continuation of major road projects started by the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.
He justified that contracts on the work of those road projects were legally binding and ought to be completed.
Speaking to Kwasi Kyei Baffour on the Sunyani-based Sompa FM ‘Me Man Nti' show, Mr Bediako, a local governance expert said the government deserved commendation for constructing 84-kilometer Berekum-Sampa road project which was initiated by the previous government.
He explained that work on that particular stretch was temporarily halted in 2025 for audit purposes and added that he was excited work on that project had resumed under this administration.
Mr Bediako also spoke about the DRIP machines, urging the government ensure the DRIP machines were utilized for the intended purpose of reshaping community and access roads.
