National Organizer for the NPP Mr Henry Nana Boakye has empowered any of the New Patriotic Party members from any intimidation that will comes from the NDC government when arrest 

Late last night the NPP held press conference to address the arrest of their  Agona West Organizer after his post indicating Dumsor is Back with President Mahama picture attached to his post.

Nana Boakye describes David Essendoh arrest as a threat under our democracy In Ghana, he said  democracy is under serious suppression, and this, criminalization of free speech is becoming very, very, very excessive. 
Meanwhile the NPP General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua expressed his deep concern regarding the unfortunate incident, emphasizing its troubling implications for the nation's democratic integrity. 

He articulated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) intends to soon reach out to the National Peace Council, alongside international organizations, Islamic groups, and other pertinent institutions, to emphasize the gravity of the situation at hand.

Esq. Kodua underscored that the issue deserves serious attention, especially considering that power transitions are a normal aspect of any functioning democracy, yet this particular incident casts a shadow on democratic principles and practices. 

He further articulated the sentiment that, as a nation recognized for its commitment to peace and stability, it is imperative to ensure that no detrimental occurrences disrupt the country's current trajectory or regress it to the tumultuous challenges of the past.

In his statement, he noted with great concern that any backsliding would not only undermine the progress that has been achieved but also tarnish the hard-won reputation of the nation on the international stage.
