Former Energy Minister under the erstwhile Akuffo addo administration, Mr Boakye Agyarko says his mission to contest for the National Chairmanship position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is to build a formidable, battle-ready party for victory in 2028, anchored on a return to its core values and grassroots strength.

Speaking on Monday 4th May, 2026 in a meeting with his Ashanti Regional Campaign Team and party supporters who are volunteering for his campaign, he declared his resolve to lead a reconciliation process to unite the party ahead of 2028 Campaign.

"We had a solid candidate but a weak party. My duty when I become National Chairman is to rebuild the party so Dr. Bawumia can lead us to victory in 2028." — Boakye Agyarko declared. He strongly affirmed his commitment to relentlessly work with Dr. Bawumia towards Party Unity and Victory 2028.

He was accompanied by Mr F. F. Antoh, Hon Joseph Osei Owusu, Snr. Advisor, Hon. Henry Quartey, Campaign Manager, Hon Alex Tetteh and a host of other Campaign Members.
