"Eschew Theft to Show off Patriotism" – AAK DCE Charges Residents

The District Chief Executive for Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese (AAK) District in the Central Region, Hon. Daniel Mensah Wardy has urged residents of Mpeseduadze to refrain from theft and all forms of corruption, calling on them to demonstrate patriotism through honesty and hard work.

He relayed this at Mpeseduadze, a suburb of the district in a durbar held to host the sod cutting of four (4) different projects comprising 20 bed health center, constructing of a road, equipping 50 men and 50 women totalling 100 residents into entrepreneurship and football academy complex in a project spearheaded by Richard Okrampa Abban Foundation on Thursday, April 18, 2026.

The DCE in his address reiterated that theft of equipments meant for the construction of public projects undermines development.

“Let’s avoid theft but show patriotism. When we protect what belongs to the communities and with each other, we will build a community we can all be proud of,” Hon. Mensah Wardy stated.

Mr. Richard Okrampa Abban, CEO for Richard Okrampa Abban Foundation expressed his profound joy for the warm relationship and looks forward to the development of Mpeseduadze through the lined up projects to be undertaken in the area.

Chief of Mpeseduadze and the Benkumhen of Abura Traditional Area Nana Amansa Odum called on all natives of Mpeseduadze to assist in the development of the town just as Mr. Abban has done.

In attendance at the program was ASP Nicholas Mensah, the District Police Commander for the AAK District, took the opportunity to advice parents to discipline their children on early signs of uncultured behavior such as smoking of cannabis, consuming tramadol, among others.

He said that refusal to attend to such behavior will destroy the life of their children and eventually land them into prison.
