Dr Freda Prempeh, the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Tano North Constituency has criticized her political saboteurs, asking them to allow her some rest after serving 12 consecutive terms in Parliament.

She encouraged the constituents to push for the progressive and sustainable development of the constituency, instead of allowing themselves to be swayed by her political detractors in the area, just to make her unpopular in the eyes of the masses.

In an interview with Sompa FM at Duayaw-Nkwanta, the constituency capital in the Ahafo Region, Dr Prempeh said it was unfortunate that: “My political saboteurs are still determined to dirty my image and hard-won reputation, though I have been out of politics for about a year now”.
Highlighting some achievements during her tenure as the MP for the area, Dr Prempeh said “if you wouldn’t be grateful at all then don’t allow my political detractors to influence you because all what I did in the constituency is glaring for all to see”, the MP stated.

Dr Prempeh said through her dent of hard work, exceptional human relationship and social capital, she was able to facilitate the rehabilitation of several roads and bridges including the asphalting of the Adrobaa-Techire road, Sukuumu-Mankranho-Baffoekrom as well as Bomaa-Tanokrom, Bomaa-Onwe, Bomaa-Nkwanta and Bomaa-Tanokrom road and many others.

She regretted that due to some political propaganda from her saboteurs, construction works on the Duayaw-Nkwanta-Bomaa stretch, a major road in the area which she facilitated its constriction was stalled with that particular road very deplorable now.
