Dr. Bryan Acheampong has emerged as the leading aapirant in the Ahafo Ano South West NPP Presidential primaries after recording the highest score in results.
According to the figures, Dr Acheampong secured 228 votes, placing him ahead of his closest contender, Mahamadu Bawumia, who garnered 208 votes. Kennedy Agyapong followed with 48 votes, while Yaw Adutwum obtained 12 votes. Kwabena Agyei Agyapong recorded no votes.
Acheampong’s lead of 20 votes over Bawumi underscores a competitive race in the constituency, with the top two candidates accounting for the overwhelming majority of ballots cast.
The distribution suggests a clear preference among participants, even as support was split among multiple contenders.
The outcome positions Bryan Acheampong as the front-runner in Ahafo Ano South West, pending any official confirmation or subsequent announcements from the relevant authorities.
