Nearly 8,000 Voters Expected to Take Part in NPP Presidential primaries in Bono Region

A total of 7,997 registered delegates are expected to participate in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Preidential primaries across the Bono Region, according to official figures released ahead of the party’s electoral planning activities.

The data shows that Sunyani West recorded the highest number of voters with 1,106 , followed by Sunyani East with 943. Tain constituency also posted strong figures, registering 837 voters, while Wenchi followed closely with 755.

In the Sunyani West area, Polling Station A and Polling Station B each recorded 553 voters, indicating equal turnout figures at both locations.

Further down the list, Jaman South registered 751 voters, Berekum East had 734, and Jaman North recorded 628. Dormaa East accounted for 498 voters, while Berekum West recorded 366.

The lowest voter numbers were recorded in Dormaa West with 333 voters, and Banda, which registered 286 voters.

The figures provide an overview of voter distribution across the twelve constituencies of the region  and are expected to inform planning and logistical decisions ahead of Saturday presidential polls.
