Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II, the Paramount Chief of the Sunyani Traditional Area has provided a free WiFi facility to improve internet connectivity at the Twene Amanfo Senior High Technical School (TASTEC).

Speaking at a ceremony held at the school premises in Sunyani, he said the facility was to help advance the study of ICT among the students, saying that the gift aligned to his vision of promoting digital learning and inclusion.

He said the world was rapidly advancing through technology, saying that internet connectivity had become an essential tool for accessing information and modern educational resources.

Odeefour Ogyeamansan Korkor II noted that without internet access, it would be difficult for students to explore educational resources and opportunities around the world.

Odeafour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor announced his intention provide local communities within the Sunyani Traditional Area with the internet facilities too to ensure that those communities were not excluded in the digital space.

Mr Nelson Dzadimatu, the Headmaster of TASTEC thanked the chief for the gesture and gave the assurance that the facility would be utilized for the intended purpose.
