He said at first they didn't see the illegal mining around the Tano River which which serve the people around but now some people is doing

some illegal mining which has destroyed the river so they have decided on having demonstration on the 22nd May, 2026 which they will start at abesim station and walk to Tano River and he said the demonstration is not political

Mr Kusi speaking to Ama Konadu on the Sunyani-based Sompa FM's " Ade Akye Abia "morning show, he said they are doing the demonstration because they have made many complains to the

assembly about the situation but to no avail and urged market women, private workers and all residents to come and support them
