Breman Asikuma Technical Institute in the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa (AOB) District of the Central Region is said to face infrastructure deficit since the past ten (10) years, thereby, affecting progress of the school.
Madam Stealla Worclachie, Headmistress of the school speaking to Sompa TV's Evans Donkor during the launch of the school's 25th anniversary celebration, she outlined various challenges confronting the school which includes inadequate classrooms, dormitory, assembly hall, dining hall and practical shops. This she observed is hugely affecting effective teaching and learning.
She therefore urged the NDC government, led by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the MP for AOB, Hon. Alhaji Alhassan Kobina Ghansah, and his DCE, Hon. Olivia Bentil to come to their aid, since current population of the school outweigh the school's infrastructure.
Nana Okofo Afful Nyankoe II, Krontihene of the Breman Traditional Area also urged students of Breman Asikuma Technical Institute to embrace discipline to go far over recent surge in indiscipline conducts among students in various schools.
He further urged students not to take part in bad behaviour which will not help them in the future.
