Abroso queen-mother appeals for development projects

Nana Agyeiwaa Kodie, the Queen-mother of Abroso, a farming community in Dormaa East District of the Bono Region has appealed to the District Assembly for development projects.
She noted that successive governments had failed the community, denying them the required development.
Speaking at a durbar at Abroso to welcome Mr Joseph Addae Akwaboa, the Bono Regional Minister to the community, Nana Kodei called for assistance to for the completion of a Kindergarten project initiated by the community.
She said they required roofing sheets to also re-roof the local basic school, as well as additional support towards the renovation of the basic school in the area.
Nana Kodie also appealed for tables and chairs for the pupils, and pleaded with the Assembly to construct a befitting Junior High School block for the school, calling for the reshaping of the Abroso-Praprababida road as well as a telecommunication network in the area.
Mr Akwaboa on his part thanked the Abroso community for voting for the National Democratic Congress in the Election 2024, saying that the govermment would also reward them by ensuring that the community equally benefited from the sharing of the national cake.
He assured the completion of the on-going construction of a CHPS compound in the community and to bring healthcare delivery to the doorstep of the rural dwellers pledging to drill a mechanized borehole and to provide them with clean water.
Madam Rachael Owusuah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Dormaa East said that the government remained committed to development the Abroso community due to their unwavering support to the NDC in the Election 2024.
