Fiapre Chief presents exam materials to 2026 BECE candidates

Obrempong Professor Kyem Amponsah II, the Chief of Fiapre in the Sunyani West Municipality has donated examination materials to some candidates preparing for the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the area.They comprised boxes of pencils, erasers, rulers, sharpeners and pens and the beneficiaries were from the Fiapre Circuit of the Ghana Education Service.



Speaking to Sompa FM on the sidelines of a presentation ceremony at Fiapre, Obrempong Amponsah II explained that the donation followed

request made by the circuit.

Obrempong Amponsah advised the candidates to remain studious and promised to award GHS 10,000 to the first five schools that would top the BECE rankings within the Circuit.

Nana Yaa Korko Sakyi, the Queen mother of Amasu in the Dormaa Traditional Area and a lecturer at the Sunyani Technical University



urged families and teachers play their respective roles in ensuring that the candidates pass the BECE.
