Mr Seid Mubarak, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sunyani East has urged the constituents to keep Sunyani clean as he pushes for the elevation of the Municipality into a Metropolis.
Besides, he said keeping the Bono Regional capital clean would boost investor confidence for job creation and poverty reduction.

Speaking to Ama Konadu on the Tuesday edition of the Sunyani-based Sompa FM “Adea Akye Abia” morning show, the MP said Sunyani now met all the indicators required for a metropolitan status.Mr Mubarak also highlighted on the progress of work on the dualization of the Sunyani-Abesim Road, saying that the project was being executed in the supreme interest of the masses and sympathized with traders who were affected by the project.
