The District Chief Executive of Atwima Mponua, Hon Ibrahim Issahak, has encouraged Muslims in his district to showcase good character and behavior after the end of Ramadan fasting.
Speaking during a donation drive to support Muslim communities, Hon Issahak emphasized that fasting is a time for spiritual reflection and self-improvement. He presented food items, including rice, drinks, and water, to help Muslims break their fast and also supported widows in the community.
"The fasting period is not easy, but it's a time to request something from Allah and commit yourself into the hands of God," he said.
Hon Issahak advised Muslims to maintain good conduct, be kind to others, and uphold the values of compassion and generosity.
He specifically urged the youth to remain calm and avoid violence, promoting peaceful coexistence in the community.
The DCE's message was clear: the end of fasting shouldn't mark the end of good deeds.
The donation was warmly received by the Muslim community, who expressed gratitude for the gesture.
